I had the oil changed at a shop and now the EVIC display shows the Engine Oil Life everytime I start the vehicle even though I had shut the vehicle off with the Speedometer displayed. In the past, if I had a different screen displayed when the vehicle is shut down, the same screen would be displayed at the next start up. The Engine Oil Life shows 100%. How can I get it back to the original way of displaying info? Thanks

Idea #1 - Go back to the oil change outfit and have them reset the oil change reminder. Or you can do it yourself (directions are in the manual)

Idea #2 - Put the display back on whatever screen you want it (besides the oil change reminder). Shut off vehicle. Disconnect both battery cable connections ...for an hour or so. Go in, have lunch, come out and re-connect. See if that corrects it.

what ever happened to press the button on the EVIC, then press the throttle down twice, just quickly enough to do it in 10 seconds

That clears the service miles or something
