So I’m gonna take this thread down another route and I hope y’all can help...
So as the picture shows I got bumped in Walmart and upon further evaluation I noticed the right exhaust tip is significantly lower than the left (about an inch). I looked underneath and that’s when I saw that whoever owned the truck prior to me used 2 different hangers for the exhaust. The right side pipe (the damaged side) has the wrong hanger on it which is why I started this post in the beginning in hopes that I would put the correct hanger on and it would draw the tailpipe up into its correct place. However I’m concerned that the pipes or the brackets that are welded onto the pipes have been compromised and bent out of alignment and that the new hanger won’t fix this.
I have ironically enough recently been shopping for a new bolt on exhaust but now I’m wondering if I should just save my money and go the cat back route and just replace everything.
I’m not really sure what I’m asking you guys lol because I haven’t taken anything apart yet as far as the tips, hangers, brackets, etc except maybe some advice if someone’s had experience with assholes messing your stuff up.
