Update: borrowed a wire welder from a friend so my old stick welder would not fill the hole with ****. I first welded a large "ball" on the bolt due to it being about an 1/8" recessed from flush, and then welded a 3/8 nut to the ball. It turned right out first try :) I highly recommend this procedure for any one with busted off bolts, beats the heck out of the old school drilling and pounding in and easy out then grinding that out because it snapped off, and drilling some more and picking out the pieces of bolt and......
YES I have been there done that and refused the shirt.

Never had a easy-out to break on me & I work in a machine shop......but I do like the weld method
