Exhaust question

I know this is probably a stupid question, and im pretty sure i already know the answer, but I figured it was worth a shot asking anyways.

Are there any exhaust options for our trucks that are both quieter than stock, and perform better at the same time?

I'd like to see some of the (minimal) gains of a catback exhaust, while also dialing back the sound a little bit when I'm not laying into the pedal.

I dont mind the sound of the stock exhaust, and i can appreciate the sound of most of the options I've seen recommended on here. But I've always prefered the idea of going fast without letting the whole town know about it. Maybe I should just say **** it and buy a tesla [emoji23]

I thought I read someone mentioning putting a stock 6.4 Hemi would make a 5.7 Hemi really quiet. Maybe someone will chime in if they know more about this.

Thats an interesting idea. The 6.4 should have bigger pipes and a bigger muffler than the 5.7, I wonder if it would boast any kind of performance gains..

the magnaflow 22in (5x11body) is close to stock in output when driving "normally", but will definitely be louder when you get on it.

yep. i like my 22" all around. it has a bit of the 1500-2000 rpm drone but perfectlyi comfortable to talk over and listen to music. i had my true test on this on my lake trip last week. it's there but mild. really pleasant note idling around tone or when i tromp on it.
