Hello all. My name is Armando and I just recently bought a 2014 Ram Black Express. My next mod will be to do the exhaust and I am torn on what kind of finish I want to do on the tips. It is either black chrome or a copper finish. I had my girlfriend photoshop some pics. Mind you its only the stock tips for now.

Do most metal plating places do the gloss black powdercoating? It does looks nice. Even though I love the all black look, I would really like some sort of metal finish. I am leaning towards the copper.

I'd go with black. Black chrome, gloss black, satin black or flat black would all look great!

If you like the copper, go with it. If you go that route, you may want to incorporate the copper color into other parts of the truck though. Maybe some copper accents on wheels or other parts?

If you go for the copper are you planning on painting or powder coating them? Don't have them plated in copper cause they will turn green over time

Yes, definitely powder coat them gold. They make a lot of different shades.

Do something different.
Everyone in the world has black, and it's only going to be more and more common.
I don't mind the copper but you got to add mOre to tie it in nicely.
calipers and emblems perhaps?

Wow, I was wondering if you could dip and figured it wouldn't last. Have you had any issues? How does it hold up to the heat?

Wondering that as well. I got burned when I touched them when they were hot. Plasti dip.being rubber can't handle that much heat. So I wonder as well.
