Just curious if any of y'all have or have tried, or know of anyone who has or have tried the Spyder Auto CCFL Projector headlights for a 2008 Ram... Thinking of buying a set but I am seeking some reviews, thanks.

I'm running these spyder lights and have no issues I did put a bead of silicone on them before install as an added precaution

All of those eBay headlights that I've ever had and seen have been junk. They leak and the beam patterns are terrible.

Hmm. Well, if it's any consolation, I wouldn't be buying these from someone on eBay.

Where did you get yours at? How long have you had them and what do you mean by putting silicone on them before installation? Thanks.

Okay, if not these, which would you suggest? These would cost me about 300 for the pair do I have as hoping they wouldn't be cheap.

These are the best plug and play projectors you can get, they adjust easy and work pretty well, and when i say they adjust easy i mean just like OEM, no removing the light, turning a screw hoping its the right amount

They come in chrome and black, also have the option for LED or CCFL halos, CCFL obviously being brighter.

The CCFL ones cost around $200 and the LED ones cost around $150

Here is the brightness comparison

I personally like the way they look at night, in my opinion with the fit and function of them are could be mistake for an OEM upgraded headlight

If you are curious about any other 3rd gen lights let me know, ive owned em all... lol

The ones you asked about look good on the bench but the output is no better than your parking lights...

Mine were from amazon I believe. A lot of aftermarket lights can leak so you silicone them around the joint to be safe.

Well, there's these like what Demon-HeMi posted about in his post #9 and then there's these that are significantly more expensive... Thoughts? Both are made by Anzo.

the more expensive ones are so pretty much because of the bi-halogen projector, i havent owned a set yet, but from people i know with them they are about as good as the other, that will come down to your budget and your taste on look, personally i dont think the looks makes up for the cost difference but either one will be a good light

So, the 111315's just use a dual, high/low bulb? Says they use an H7.

The others, the 111103's say they use a H1 high beam and a H3 low beam.

I'm more interested in light output than looks. Does the set you have, burn both bulbs at once when your high beams are on or do the low beams go out when you hit your brights?
