Explain like I'm 5, Starter wiring

Now I am no expert on wiring diagrams, and when I removed the engine and disconnected everything I forgot to label wires. Can someone explain how to connect my starter. I know I need two wires, which I only disconnected from the starter, not the other end. So they are hanging around somewhere

There should be a ground and a positive that attach to the starter via a threaded stud.

Yeah, I've got that part, but where do those wires run to? I know one of them goes to the positive battery cable, but I'm lost on the other.

One of them should actually run to the PDC in the engine bay. The other should be a chassis ground.
