I added a bunch of "ability to see in any direction" to my '17 2500 Tradesman CCLB.
Haven't been able to work in 2.5 yrs so I did not go with top of the line anything. My 3 lightbars and all the smaller ones are from Amazon & ebay. Lightbars were Mictuning and were between $70. - $130.@. Smaller pods were a mix of AuxBeam & others. All have worked flawlessly since I installed them. Key is to seal every light with phenoseal or similar. Never believe the waterproof claims on budget lights.
I built an underhood combo relay / fuse / power distribution bd to eliminate extra wires all over. Also built a switch panel and mounted it in that "no friggin' use area" under the dash. All 4 Red Safety switches control the LED Lightbars.
2 front facing lightbars are both white and amber. Rear facing lightbar is white and mounted on headache rack, hence the safety switch. Also have white alley lights on headache rack facing 90 deg from truck.
Amber pods on grille guard are angled 45 deg and really light up both sides. (Where the deer are!)
Installed 2 white spot beams facing front also.
All this plus low beam HID's and hi beam LED's.
Also just inst a 3 row rear running/ brake /reverse/ signal strip under tailgate from Mictuning. That has really bright white rev lights.
All factory bulbs in rear & 3rd brake were changed to LED's too. Except the tag lights heh heh heh.
Added Red LED map/ dome lights because red doesn't mess up your night vision.
I need to take pictures at night but, here's a few. I'm happy with all of it. NE TN gets dark.
