You might check to see if they will install it for you as well if you supply the factory parts. That sounds about right though. That's about the going hourly rate for dealer labor these days proably takes them 5 min but they are going to charge you one hour anyway. If they install the unit maybe they will throw in the programming.

One dealer gave me a price to install the controller.. $290 for parts plus labor....... I found the parts online for $135 from moparpartscorp.com.
Still deciding if I want to do all of this. I already have the Tekonsha P3 my uncle gave me brand new..

Only $35 for the switch. What else would I need to buy to put the factory brakes on my truck?

It was $290 for the parts PLUS labor.. I have to assume they are gonna hit me for an hour which is $135 per hour..

Yeah I already have a controller so I am having a hard time pulling the trigger and doing this...

Just added by dealer last week on a 2017 1500 Laramie crew cab, $290 parts, 2hrs labor at accesory rate of $85/hr....Although OEM site lists 1hr. Works fine. Computer had to be on sleep mode overnight before trailers 1-4 options showed up on settings screen (8.4 Nav). Found out there were 2 different labor rates, $121 for repair, $85 /hr for accessory additions.
