Factory Break Controller and EVIC

Whats up guys, I have a 2010 Ram 1500 SLT. I added the factory break controller as I could not stand how vertical an aftermarket one was going to have to be. For over a year I towed with out the dealer flashing the computer to add the option code for it so it would show up in the EVIC. This year i decided to spend the $100 to have them flash it well for a couple of days I noticed the option in the system setup for the break controller but as i did not have it plugged into my trailer (25' Travel Trailer) it gave me no options. So this past weekend i go camping and finally plug in the camper and I was planing on setting up the lite vs heavy electric vs hydraulic like i hear about but nothing was showing up in system setup. I come home and am playing around some more and still nothing shows up now even with the camper unhooked any thoughts do i have to take it back to the dealer or am i missing something. don't know about the 2010s but with my 2014 all the options are in the radio settings. you don't need to have the trailer connected to view or even change the options it just won't try to activate the breaks unless it detects a trailer is connected
