I recently bought a 2014 black express. I had it for a few days before I noticed what apperared to be paint specs all over the truck with a really bad section on the bed(looks like paint/dirt settled in the clear coat before it dried). I took it back to the dealer and they had their body shop guy look at it. He buffed out the bad area but didn't touch the rest of the truck. I noticed this when I picked it up and restated that there were white specs all over the truck, three weeks later they took it back to the detailer. I picked it up yesterday and while it looks better there are still a lot of specs in the paint. The detailer told my he just clay bared it and had waxed it. Anyway im tired of dealing with the dealership, what it the best to get the crap out of my paint? Scrub the hell out of it with a clay bar or have it mechanically buffed/polished?
