From the replies I have read, I can say, I love them. Better handling IMO, and just as quiet as OEM. I run at 40 psi, and haven't seen any significant change in MPG. I stuck with the stock size, because it was not a LT rated tire (stiffer sidewall, could handle different). Since I have installed, 2 guys at work with 1500's have put them on, and love them!

Love the rooster tail from the front I deep snow. Would buy again

Simple Tire put the 275-65-20 size on sale at the same time that eBay decided to offer 8% eBay bucks, so I ordered a set yesterday.

I ran the original Wild Peak A/T in 305/55 on my 06 Laramie and was overall satisfied with them at their price point. Glad to see Falken stepped it up another notch in the looks and performance, may have to give the AT3W's a go based on this thread.

What, no more sr-a's..... But they were such a good tire. o_O Shame to see they're going to a smaller diameter, I wonder if the humungo wheel wells that we've all come to love are getting smaller as well. Does that mean we'll now have to run a 4" lift to clear 33's without trimming like the chevy's?

Not the same tire, obviously a mass marketed, likely cheaper version, but time will tell. Good for falken, hopefully they dont ruin potential repeat customers like goodyear did with the sra.

Did you have to use a spacer for the 305?

Just did my first rotation @ 6M miles yesterday. Still look brand new, satisfied with the purchase and so far they perform excellent in rain and snow. In my opinion, a bargain for the price.......oh, and they look good on the truck too

My bet they'll be quite a bit lighter than version we all got. No regrets, just sayin

Been driving on my new Falken 305/55/20 for about 2 weeks now. Here are my impressions...

Value: Exceptional to say the least. Spent $245 each. I was cross shopping between these, Toyo RT and Nitto Ridge Grapplers. At one point I also considered the Nitto G2 but wanted something more aggressive. So, the Falkens saved me well over $400 over other sets.

Ride: Compared to stock SRA, they ride a little more firm but still feel good overall. For as tough and meaty a tire, I was expecting worse. In terms of sound, there is a very slight low hum but I can barely hear it. In fact, it really could be more wind noise due to the fact I have 20x10 -19 wheels that poke out 2-3”. In other words, they are very quiet.

MPG: I experienced a loss of 2mpg compared to my stock wheels and tires. However, I also installed larger wheels and a mild lift. Additionally, these tires are wider than factory. If I had to guess, I would attribute -1.5 mpg loss due to my lift, larger wheels, and negative offset. The tires are probably responsible for another -.5mpg loss. Maybe as much as 1mpg loss because these tires are significantly heavier than stock. In the LT305/55/20, they weigh a massive 71lbs!

Performance: I can’t speak much at this point. I have driven in rain and they perform great. I haven’t driven overly aggressive but they track very well. Can’t wait to take them into the snow.

Overall, I highly recommend them. They are phenomenal. My only wish is that they were a little lighter. Otherwise, perfect for my needs.
