Question, did these Falkens smell like cow manure after first driving them?
I had Rocky Mountains put on my wife’s ‘05 Tahoe in ‘10 or ‘11, smelled like I was at a farm for a few thousand miles

Haha I bought some 33’s for my old JK Jeep from discount tire. They were the Falken Wildpeak AT’s in 2012 and man oh man did those things STINK!! I drove about 1.5 hrs down to the USA border to pick ‘em up and haul them back. My Jeep was rank for a few weeks after that trip.

Put these on my truck last winter, stock size, and love them. They still look new. They replaced a set of Duratracs that were great in snow but I felt broke loose a little too often in the rain. These things stick like glue to wet roads and have been great in light snow so far. Hoping to test em out in something more substantial this winter.

We got about 6" of snow around here Friday and these tires did great. Had no issues at all driving around town on plowed or unplowed roads. Slushy snow, fluffy snow, hard packed snow, these tires handled it all with ease. VERY impressed with these tires.

They also look great too!

I got mine on today and I am also very happy with them. They look so much better then those stock Wranglers. I went with the stock size on the 20" sport wheels but I swear these look bigger which was a nice plus. I also didn't even notice road noise until I forced myself to listen.

Looks 10/10
Roadnoise 2/10 ( 10 being the loudest)
Ride Quality 10/10
Price: $638 to the door through discount tire.
I also purchased their tire warranty for but that was optional so that isnt included in the $638.
I will post pictures tom when I get Hemi cleaned.

Looking good! Just got my 315/70/17s in today. Now just waiting on my new rims to come in!

Interested to figure out what psi to run them at since I'm putting them on my 1500 that has 20s with 33s at 39 psi stock... 20180103_171530.jpg 27546-MMS-1515004646394-attachment1-2018010395123655.jpg

Got them out in the "bomb cyclone" this morning. It was a good test since it was a mix of plowed and unplowed roads, and with the wind there was varying depths of snow/slush. Performance is fantastic. I don't mess around in weather like this so I was in 4 lock with tow/haul on (for engine braking downhill) and never got above 30-35 mph. Grip to get going was outstanding, grip around corners was solid, and most impressive was braking and creeping down steeper hills.

I believe I have about 15k miles on these since I got them so still performing very well!

That's exactly what I need to hear, since WI winters can be a real biotch

Got them mounted and balanced today! Super late, so pictures are pretty dark. Running the fronts at 50psi and rears at 45 for the time being. Will see how it goes.

Initial impressions are awesome! Smooth, quiet ride. Will have to get some miles and different terrain tests before I really can weigh in. 20180104_193024.jpg 20180104_193045.jpg

I replaced the stock crap tires with these a few weeks ago. So far they have been great, ride is the same, haven't noticed any increased road noise. I think I may have lost a MPG or so but seems the norm from reading other posts. The tread looks much more aggressive, really a fan of these tires and cost a decent amount less than the other ATs.. Handled great in multiple upstate snow falls already.
