So you got rid of your old ones? :p they all look good on your truck. You're like a girl trying to buy shoes hah!

I want to know what you're doing!!! :bleh:

Kinda got rid of them.
I got partial payment, but the wheels are still in my garage....
Yes, that is what my wife tells me.....

Honestly, I want a lighter wheel and I am looking into forge wheels and trying to see what my guys can find for me.
I ran forge wheels on my car (so those are the guys Im reaching out to) but they are custom made, so they will be pricy.

But I had 20x10 wheels on my car and they weight 21.3lbs....

Its all about going quick for me now.

I want a lifted truck (where I am now) that can move.....

Yes.....I will be trying 35" AT's on these rims. Tires will be on by end of week and Im sure I will like the new power from coming from 37's

Yes, I am aware that 35" and fast dont go well.....but what I have planned is a Supercharge within the year and if available, TQ Converter, LongTubes and I got my 87mm TB waiting and have the tuner plugged in on 87 octane (this cant burn quick enough too as my MPG increased...lol

But Id say 500 to the wheels when its all said an done

Already setting aside cash for the charger :mexsmoke:

im talking with a sponcer on another site about a tvs2300 ;) and talking to ATS who builds a 545rfe tranny that is built for boost. builder says you can run teh 5 speed as a 6 speed he just trying to see if the harness will work with one another

side note: 500 would be nice but you might have to run at least 10 psi to achive that with those 35s. im just hoping to hit 460ish good enough for a low 13s pass for now.........

Nah, I got a buddy (who is on there, username websterc) running 8 psi with a RIPP charger and only has a mild cam and 18" muffler and he is running 462 at the wheels.
Adding a longtube header (as per RIPP), they told him he can get 30 additional at the wheels and with some fine custom tuning it can be at or over 500 hp.

Its doable and he has a 10" plus lift running 38's....haha

Im not looking for a track truck.
I just want it so when some punk thinks he can take my lifted truck is quickly brought to earth when he see's my tail lights....lol

Where are you located again?

sudbury......ill guess i find out this summer what she puts down. but one thing is teh ripp kit uses a vortech which is a centrifugal blower and boost is linear with regards to rpm. i like the tvs systems, full boost and max torque at the lower rpms which also will ease the tranny as 1-3 clutch packs in the tranny are much stronger... there a couple of guys running the R/Ts with stock manifolds putting just a little over 400 with 5/6 pounds of boost. 500 will be a bit more of a challenge tho.

There is nothing as fun as having a big lifted truck that hauls ass. Its alot easier to do with a diesel, but is possible in a gasser as well. I love seeing the face of an old man in a vette when he realizes he just got spanked by an old farm truck.

500 is easily doable with the setup Andrew is talking about. Like he mentioned I dyno'd at 462 running 37's on a stock tranny. Keep in mind my exhaust system is all stock except a muffler. If I swap my cam for the next level up and do the longtubes, high flow cats, and some decent tuning ill easily break 500.

The nice part with all of these mods is that if you start researching what the old challenger boys are doing, alot of these mods can be done to ours.

Do what you can in pieces or stages :)
