What is maxim number? Per Artist / Per Song or is it combined?

My last radio was limited to ~30 combined

I'm pretty certain that it's 50 combined songs/artists. I've only used it for about 3-4 so far.

On an aftermarket satellite radio you'll be alerted anytime one of the songs or artists you've favorited is playing on any station, you're then given the opportunity to switch to that station. I haven't tried it on the factory deck yet.

Never have seen that come up on mine, Ive even switched stations to a fav song on accident but was never told about it

I started using it, I have to 5.0 radio and I get a beep and a message on the screen to switch stations. I read that there is a setting on the radio to get either a message on the screen with no beep, or a message and a beep, without the beep I would never notice the message on the screen.

The default settings have this feature turned off- took me a while to figure it out. You need to go to Alert settings and select either visual or audible and visual alert.
