I wonder if like you said before, the brakes were partly engaged while driving. Maybe things got stretched a little too far while installing? Glad you got it figured out, hopefully you wont sell that big MONSTER!! lol

Thats what Im trying to research now. How a rear lift can affect the ABS/ESP. I did notice this on Performancelifts description of the kit,

"The ProComp engineering team designed this rear suspension system to maximize the handling and performance benefits that the new multi-link rear suspension system offers. And it does so without compromising the factory Electronic Stability Program (ESP)."

Wonder what part of a rear lift would compromise the ESP in the first place?
Anyways, my search is on!

Also RAMBO, those nuts that were welded to those plates to connect the control arm brackets to the frame were the cause of the clunking/noises. I had to trim those down enough to not make contact of the control arms and also so the nut would sit flush. Frustrating to say the least bro lol

Glad I can keep the truck lol such a sign of relief!

I will have to look at those welded plates. I just got my BORA adapters in and will be putting them on in a week or so when I get back home. Im going to loosen the control arm nuts at the drop bracket and check those plates your talking about. I know I tightened my control arms with no weight on the truck, and I think that might be the cause of my noise. im going to loosen them up with the weight of the truck down on the ground, and then tighten them back up and see if that fixes it.

NICE! I'm still unsure if im going to install my wheel spacers or not...might just get new wheels if i dont trade in the truck. Who knows. Yea I ended up loosening the CAs and re-torquing just in case. My track bar need some re-torquing as well. Check this drawing about what I had to do to the welded nut plate to avoid rubbing noises and squeaks. Ignore my half-ass pro-e drawing lol

That's pretty good! I will have to check that out when I get under there. The flat side that you trimmed, is that toward the outside of the truck or inside? Did you have to trim both driver and passenger sides?

haha I had to hurry, My boss walked by and said "that's an interesting drawing. Where does that apply?" I was like "ummmmm, Its a new design for one of our heat treat machines?" lol....

Anyways, the part that was trimmed is identical for both sides. I had to trim it as close as I could to the welds. For some reason there is a peice of the frame that isnt flush, so when you tighten down on the nut it doesnt sit flush and caused a creaking noise for me. Grab a flashlight and see if you can see it. Ill try to grab a picture too. I also had to bend the end of the plate becasue it also contacted the lower control arm which created a nice clunking noise. So I just put it in a vise and pull it enough to bend it.

Boy oh boy, I swear this lift was more trouble than it was worth lol

Hey sausec17, I need your help. You are running 10"of lift. With that do you think you would have any problem with rubbing, even at full lock with 22x12 with 37x13.50? After us talking and doing more research, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger sooner than later.

I think -44 is 4.75" BS? Might be wrong though. I would have to do some measurements with my wheels at full lock since I havent really work with wider wheels before.

But I would THINK they would fit fine

I wouldnt rely on my meaurements though lol. Never really know until you actually put them on the truck. I know theres a few guys clearing 35s on -44 20x12s. Maybe post a thread to grab their attention and see what they think

I think 38x15.50 would be too heavy and wide for me to run for a daily driver. Even though its been done before.

Ill probably stick to 37x13.50 on some 20x10 -12 or -24 if i do decide to change it up.

Height wise it looks like you're about there. Just wider shoes is the only difference I see over your setup.

Yea, you get a really mean look for the truck. I'll have to ask around but sadly add I have learned, won't really know till I bolt them on

Been email today MaxTrac to ask them more about there kit. Asked about putting a spacer with their kit and off course they said no that it will mess up the truck, but then says ask in forums lol. They did say that my setup should be ok with trimming valence
