finally got my kooks headers installed

finally got some time to put the kooks headers on the truck. took me and my dad about 6 hours and lots of cussin lol.

i didnt think to open the hood to check the temp under the hood. ill try to do it tmrw when i get out and about.

hard to tell by the butt-dyno, but its hard to say if i noticed any difference.

waiting for another car show at the dyno shop so i can have true numbers.

If the Shorties end up being disappointing you need to add something like this to it whether you custom build it or buy.

my temp sensor gun broke, so unable to tell the temp of the headers but it doesnt feel as hot over the headers, main heat coming from radiator.

i have noticed the trans temp seems to take longer warming up though.

I just put in kooks too. How did put your oil dipstick back in? Did you have to bend it?

I bent mine a little bit
