After 9 months I finally got around to leveling/lifting the truck.

I went with 5100’s on all 4 corners, front set to 2.8, 1.5” spacer in the rear.

I wasn’t sure how the topper weight would affect getting the front level with the rear. All corners measure 40” on the dot! Truck is sitting on a slight uphill in the pic. Next stop 275/65/20’s.

Question, has anyone replaced their sway bar end links after doing this? I searched and didn’t find much. Looking at the angle the front ones are sitting, I’m thinking I need extended ones. Anyone got any recommendations? I see plenty for 4-6” of lift, but not much in the 2-3” range.

Can anyone attest to these? Looks like it does away with the bushing on the lca and is direct mount.

Or, would replacing the front ucs’s put the sway bar back in alignment?

Thanks!

One of the members here—DILLIGAF, if I’m not mistaken—recently recommended the SuspensionMaxx Heavy Duty Extended Sway Bar End Links for trucks running a leveling kit. I’ve got a similar setup on my own truck, running Bilstein 6112s set at 2.4”, and installed the SuspensionMaxx links about 2 weeks ago.

So far, the upgrade has made a noticeable improvement in both feel and handling. I’m now seriously considering adding the SuspensionMaxx extended end links to further complement the setup and improve front-end geometry.

I ended up getting the ones from Spohn. Their reviews were high. Should have them this week and get them put on. I’ll follow up with how they work.

I was also looking at the rear and I think I may go with the fixed length ones from Core 4x4.

How are the mevo uppers working for ya? My angle with the stock arms isn’t hateful right now. Once I get 275/65’s I think I’m going to throw mevo’s on it too.

So far, no issues with the Mevo UCAs. I had considered going with the Zone UCAs, but ultimately went with the more budget-friendly Mevo TTX UCAs.

If I were planning to go with a 4" or 6" lift, Zone would definitely be my choice. But since I'm sticking with a level setup, and considering that a larger lift can negatively impact turning radius (as confirmed by 4WP), I'm happy with where I'm at.

Likewise. I’m staying at this height. Tires will net me another 1/2-1” depending on what size I go. I’m a fan of narrow tires. I’m going to try to run bigger tires without wheel spacers. Don’t want them poking out too much.

I do not believe Mevotech offers an angle correcting UCA. When going 2" or more you will want an angle correcting UCA to remedy the CV and ball joint stress from the angles. Zone, Core, Icon, ReadyLift, are just some of the brands that offer angle correcting UCA's. If interested send me a message and we can find a brand that will fit your needs and budget.

Not sure what type of tire you are looking for, but if a 3 peak snow rated aggressive a/t tire is desirable for you and you like pizza slicers, i would highly recommend looking at the mickey thompson baja boss at in a 255/85/17. Basically a 35x10.

For my summer set up I put LT295/65R20's (equivalent to 35's) on my stock 20x9 Warlock rims.

I have the 5100's all around on the stock springs, with the fronts set to 2.1" raised, and the stance is perfect.

I also gain (give or take) almost a couple of extra inches of height with these tires on for the summer.

Those TTX UCA wont last, ask me I how know...lol.. ;)

I dont run a front or rear sway bar anymore. But when I did I had suspension Maxx up front for only a few months.
How has your truck been feeling without the rear sway bar? Does it feel mushy, or floaty(if that makes any sense)?

I got the front end links on today and it was a vast improvement over the stock(maxed out) ones! The stock’s made the front end knock. Front end is nice and tight now! Tight like a tiger!

How does the ride feel at highway speeds (80+ mph), especially around bends, without sway bars? Still stable?

I just got back from Cut Knife Saskatchewan and I set it on cruise at 140 the whole way just I could hear the sound the Hemi. At that speed the overdrive isn't kicking in so truck hauls ass and sounds good.

I take Highway off ramps at 100 , You got to remember I got bags in the rear that keeps it planted. I'll put about 40 PSI in them when I drive stupid.

Even at 180 she's still pretty stable but she'll start feeling like I'm floating and I don't like that.

On gravel roads my cruising speeds about 120 because those toyos just grip like a m***********.

That’s a little over 80ish freedom units. I think I’ll try pulling my end links and see how it feels then. Need to replace them anyway, if I like them disconnected I just won’t order new links.
