Finished cab and front bumper yesterday as I had a few hours to spare. Knocked out the bed and rear bumper this morning. Sitting at around 48" up front and 47" out back. May swap in 1" coil spacers in the rear to bring it level. We shall see. Next on the plate is to tackle my regear in a few weeks! Can't wait. Still averaging 14MPG mixed so I'm wondering what 4.56 will bring me to.

Also thinking of painting the Mirrors (smooth and paint the black textured areas), and getting a paintable grill shell painted but keeping the inserts.

How much lift are you at total now with the coilovers cranked up at the body lift? Just wondering how it compares to my 3500 with the 8" lift. I sit at 50" all around.

When I put the 4.56 gears in my truck I lost about 0.5 mpg (going from 3.73's). I do a fair bit of highway driving which is where I think I lost it. In town it does way better and simply feels better all around. I'm wondering how the mileage will be affected with the hemi.

Painting the mirror arms would definitely look sick. That's on my to-do list as well.

I'm cranked a total of almost 2" (ride height) on my Coilovers. So I'd say I'm at 9.5" of total lift? That would make sense since 2500/3500s sit a few inches higher from the factory correct?

A 6" lift generally only provides 5.5" of lift from the strut spacers. So with that, the 2" on the coilovers, and the body lift I'd say you're probably at 9". Which makes sense with the 2" difference in height between our trucks. Did you happen to take a measurement from the center of your hub to the top of the fender before installing the lift?

Yea, I don't know if you will see much of a mpg gain, but it will certainly drive a lot better. And above 50, it wont feel like a huge **** lol.

In the past, with 4spd trans, you often saw a little mpg gain just because the truck would have such a hard time getting moving with big tires. But now, with basically 3 extra underdrive gears to get you going, its not as big of a deal.

Its going to hold 7th and 8th gear with the 4.56s though, where as I know its not doing that now.

It looks good though! The best I have ever averaged per tank is around 19, and usually ~17 with a 2wd 3.21 truck. So 14 isn't all that bad considering.... but I'm convinced that 3.21s hinder mpg.

I'm actually happy with 14 lol. To be honest. Regearing is for longevity and getting the power back. It drives surprisingly well with the 3.92s and 8 speed. So I'm sure ill be very happy with 4.56.

Jameson... you should link your build thread (well, this one: http://www.ramforum.com/f40/finally_got_my_wheels_tires-84420/ ) in your signature. Although it doesn't show the body lift... Maybe add the specs to the original post here and link this one.

Because people are going to want to know your set up all the time lol. Its funny to me that the majority of people talk trash about chrome rims (and even billet wheels which should be a sin) but then they see this truck and cant stop looking at it.

That's sick man! Looks great. Any photos of the suspension? Are you running any spacers on the wheels?
