First Dodge Ram

I've been scouring the ol inner web with no luck, so hopefully some of you guys can help.
I recently purchased a 2011 ram trx4 from a dealership. Love the truck only a few things have me baffled. Previous owner installed an amazing aftermarket stereo (alpine double din with multi media etc). Everything works and runs great except for the factory alarm system (doesn't work at all, key fobs do nothing) also the puddle lights on the mirrors don't work.
I am wondering if these things are controlled by the factory radio? Like I said I've been driving it now for almost 2 weeks with no complaints just would like to have everything working.
Also, I pulled the stereo and it looks like a professional install using the correct harnesses etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Factory radio should have the settings to change. Once changed they should remain that way when you put the alpine back. At least for my 2015 it does.

Can you post a photo of which radio that is installed ? I'm running a Pioneer 4100NEX and my puddle lights and key fob work as supposed to.

The factory radio on the '11 doesn't control anything but the radio and bluetooth/UConnect. I went to a dealer shortly after buying mine and they said there is no way to disable the alarm.
