First issue, 1200 miles in. For the last week, I get a brake light out message on startup for the passenger side of the vehicle. It seems to be a false indication, as the light seems to be working. Probably just something to mention at the first oil change?

Man if it were me, I'd take it back and get it fixed as soon as possible I'm sure that message is getting annoying by now.

Did you replace your third brake lamp with an aftermarket lamp?

I'm the second owner, so no warranty stuff to cover it. The dealer refunded my down payment, and you can only really notice it on the passenger side, so I've learned to ignore it.

i bought my last truck used and it had a few dings on it and a pretty good dent in the wheel well but i wasnt about to worry about it either...as long as theres no structural damage to the truck its no big deal i guess (it still is to me lol)

The brake light out graphic doesn't actually show which light is out just that there is one out. Usually it's the third brake light because it doesn't seal properly. Water gets in there touches the light while it's hot and blows it.
