I was all set to go spacers but the bils dont look to be that expensive and I do my own work except for alignment.
If you plan on using your truck off-road don't go with spacers .
You'll love the bills , great ride imo.

I went with the bills at +2.8" and love them !

I can’t say this enough! Make sure you put the washer underneath the upper strut mount and then the nut above the upper strut mount. The washer does not go with the nut.
Well said Sir!

Regarding mods. Has any one run across a vendor who offers Hemi coil pack half covers and custom plenum throttle body covers for the 03 5.7. 3G Custom only goes back to 06.

This was my 1st, and its cheap too! Helps you ease into the addiction lol

My truck came pre-modded by the previous owner... but I'd say tailgate assist is definitely on the must-have short list. Not sure why manufacturers haven't made it standard across all trucks yet... my wife's '08 Titan came with it from the factory.

My first mod was exhaust with a muffler delete. Gotta hear the truck while driving!

I just wrapped up my first mod the Dee Zee tailgate assist. Took bout 1 beer install time. Really comes handy if you use the tailgate often. NCRaineman you are right these trucks should have came standard with it from the jump.

The DZ Tailgate assist mod is a must imo !!!!

But the best first mod with any 5.7L Hemi is : ::::

#1
after 5000 miles change the engine oil to Redline 5W-30 ...and a quality oil filter like the RP 10-48 or compatible ... certainly not the Mopar filter .

#2
install an oil catch can. This may very well be your most important addition if you plan on going over 100k ...

^^^^This is a great order of mods!

Personally I went with a 24" Magnaflow then a Catch Can but the CC should be #1

My truck had less than 50 kms on it when I installed an oil CC. It really does catch a lot of crap in it, should cut down on throttle body maintenance
