Have my '14 crew cab big horn 1500, and I want some opinions on best first modification(s). It's my DD, pulls a 8500# trailer, and may occasionally take a trip down the track. I'm torn between a Diablo I2 with hemifever tuning, or Bilstein 5100s to level it out. Was going to do a Vararam intake, but I've heard mixed things about their quality. Also I don't know if it'd be worth the money for something that drives 80mph and less most the time. Any other cold air intake seems like a waste of money based on past experience with other vehicles. Any other suggestions or insight on what really improves these trucks?

Convert, for now.

The tuner will help with pulling all the way around, the intake will compliment the tuner.
The Bilsteins will make the truck look good, but may hurt mileage.

Thanks everyone who have replied so far.

Gofishn, I really like that intake. I'm a fan of home built goodies, so I'll try that. I also fixed the 3rd brake issue. They washed my truck before I took it home and it blew the light. Was baffled why the "brake light out" message kept coming on.

Well, if you lke the air intake idea, and want it to be RAM AIr

https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/images/M/3623-PLUS.JPG

add this vent intake to the left side of your radiator. run hose directly to it.
I have not done this, jsut yet, but it is on my list of to-do's since I saw someone else do it to his 2014 ram.

I'd do the Bils before anything. Not only does it make the truck look better but the ride is better and it reduces body roll noticeably.

I already caved and ordered the tuner. I'll get the Bils in a few weeks.
