It's been one month since I bought the Ram and I've done a few basic mods. Well, addons really, so I thought it was time to list them here.
1. Added the U-Connect module and USB cable in the glove box. Had the dealer flash it when I took it in for an O2 sensor software recall.
2. Added a Prodigy P2 brake controller that I kept from my last truck. No picture of that one.
3. Added fog lights and wired them to a relay so that they come on automatically with parking lights. The fogs are just cheap Pilot brand but they are very sentimental to me since my Son picked them out for me for Christmas before he passed away in 08.
4. Added a license plate backup camera with a twist: I also added a second RCA video jack to the underside of the hitch bar so I can plug in the camera that's on the back of my camper when I hitch up. I installed a DUAL 4.3" screen rearview mirror. The screen on the left is the Rams camera and comes on automatically when in reverse. The screen on the right is for the camper camera and will remain on as long as the camper is hooked up and the truck ignition is on. Here's a pic of the mirror with both on, but it was had to get a clear picture of it in the daylight.
5. Added an American Tonneau tri-fold soft cover. All I could afford at the moment, but I actually like it a lot. Had a many problems with a gen 1 bakflip that I had on my Colorado.
6. Added Mopar rubber mud flaps.
7. Added Truck Champ Black oval nerf bars.
