Little late to the party at 17xx miles, but finally done it

Was gonna do PUP, but they didn't have any PUP, so plan B.

Friend helped me out, would of been quicker if he had his tools vs the shops ones, but yeah, it's all good

Evening y’all, this is my second ram, just traded my 12 express for a Lonestar crewcab
I had a fit trying to keep the m1 filters on the last one went back to wix
With my first ram, the motor lost oil rings in motor and dealer would not replace because I did not have ‘documentation of oil changes’
Record record records has been my new battle cry after an $8000 motor job on my 12
Had to have the motor rebuilt for same problem later on about 40000 later
Had record, got it replaced under warranty with only installation fees

Keep records, receipts, document everything!!!!

did you fight it or just take thier word? You don't have to prove anything to deny warranty, they do. Maybe if something was "burnt" they would have at least an argument, but make them prove it. I had a chevy dealer refuse to fix my truck under warranty, I won 13 grand from GM for a couple hundred dollar fix. Lawyer got 3 grand, I got a big fat 10 grand check. You have your battle cry, I have mine, never let the dealer **** you when you can **** them harder, hire a lemon law lawyer if they refuse to do anything, they will settle out of court.

They both will work equally as well. Research viscosities and take note of the 5w30 PP cSt (operating vicosity) and 5w20 PP. They are very close, so many guys go to 5w30 for a little extra protection. With that specific oil PP it is a thin 5w30, so someone might opt for a lil more protection considering what we face with rams and cams.

lemon law lawyers here are free, you only pay if and when you win and only the agreed upon %. I had some minor fees like filing costs, but sure glad I fought. Win or loose don't let people push you around, just say'n.
