will my 20ft trailer about 6000lbs make the truck squat with out airbags?
There are several variables with that question.....with the obvious being how much tongue weight. A 6,000 lb. trailer isn't much of a trailer for any 2500 series truck as you can get small trucks like a Toyota Tacoma to tow that much. I wouldn't expect to have excessive squat on the truck unless you were unable to load it in away to avoid a bunch of tongue weight.

I just purchased my first PW back in December and have towed a small load with it a couple of times. The trailer is a 9,000 lb. GVW 18' long steel deck tandem axle car hauler that weighs around 2,500 lbs. empty. What I consider a small load is hauling a SxS that weighs under 2,000 lbs., so total load is around 4,500 lbs. Typically position the SxS so around 75% of it is forward of the trailer axles....never worried too much about load distribution because the overall weight is so low. Obviously made the PW squat some, maybe a couple inches in the back, but seemed pretty equivalent to what my previous Chevy 2500HD looked like (without actually measuring anything). I have yet to tow a heavy load with the PW, which is replacing the SxS with a 6,000 lb. K5 Blazer rockcrawler. I'm much more specific with positioning of the K5 in regards to weight distribution because it is approaching the maximum towing capacity (FYI - the 2500HD was rated for 9,800 lbs. towing). The Chevy had about the same amount of squat with the K5 as it did with the SxS, and that was because I centered the weight of the K5 over the trailer axles much more evenly.

Here is 12,500 with the weight distributed over the axels. I picked this up new at the dealer and didn’t know I was this heavy at the time. The tractor stays on my farm so don’t need to trailer it around. Otherwise, would need a standard 2500 with goose neck. The drive train handled weight with no problem.

What’s to Mod on a Power Wagon ?
Trick question?
Though a PW come well equipped one can always improve it to fit what you do or love most.

For example there’s a suspension up grades that will really help moderate to severe off roading but sacrifice towing and payload. If you don’t really off road but tow or haul, you could go the other direction but it will hurt Performance Off-road.
check out my thread about 10k in mods. You will find
Tires
Bumpers
Camping gear
Recovery
Sliders
On board air
And of course lights all listed by PW owners.

Enjoy your 12 mpg. Definitely worth it if you have a ton of gas money.

Maintain posted speeds when eco kicked in I easily reached 18-19. If I want 20 mpg I just set the cruise at 63.

Yep check the tongue weight, and throw on weight distribution and/anti sway. Even if you are running spec tires you gonna some sway them duratracs like to wiggle.
