Hello! I am thinking about getting this kit from rough country for my 2011 ram 1500 5.7hemi. https://www.roughcountry.com/dodge-combo-lift-kit-352.html?find=2011-ram-1500-4wd-755038

I have a few questions for people with the similar size of the lift. 1. Will I need big/longer shocks? I’ve seen that can be a worry when getting a lift? What else might I need bigger of? 2. I already have 34s stuffed on my truck. According to the site it says that it can fit 35s. Will my current tires look small on there? I cannot afford any bigger tires on top of the lift kit. Plus I already really like my nitro trail grapplers I have on it. Thank you for your time to read this. I may be completely wrong about some things. I’m not the most mechanically incline person. This is also my first truck that Is under my name and I want it to look good.

I would post what you are planning to use the truck for, towing, off-road or just street/daily driver. There are lots of members here with a lot more knowledge & experience than me that can give advice. Good luck & welcome to the forum! It has been a great asset with any problems I had with my truck.

That wouldn't be a good kit, stay away from kits that use 2-2.5" spacers in the front unless you did a bracket lift that drops your front diff, relocate your ucas, etc. That's why brackets lifts are a more expensive, they give you bigger spacers for your struts but your suspension/steering geometry after lift is pretty much stock so there is no harm to your components.
If you don't want/need a bracket lift you can level your front with say 5100's set at 2, or Eibach set at 2" or Rancho QL, then add a 1.25 BL all around. You won't have any issues that way with your CV axels and your suspension will handle better than it will with those 2.5" spacers in the front.

Ok so I read over the comments a few times. The reasons I want a lift is my truck is my only vehicle so it’s a daily driver but I do a lot of hunting. So mostly for looks, but also for some clearance. I don’t really tow anything. In terms of hauling stuff in the bed sometimes 500 pounds of corn or dirt or whatever. I also don’t want to rearrange any diffs or anything. If rough country is a Walmart brand. What’s a good brand at a good price? I’ve personally never had a problem with rough country.

That kit is a combination body lift and spacer lift. Since you're not fitting larger tires a body lift won't really do anything for you. The suspension lift included in that kit uses strut spacers in front which are a guarantee of ball joint and cv axle failure if you take the truck off road even on mild trails. One of those "cheap" things that's really more expensive in the long run.

If you want something that's economical + won't cause you any more problems long term and will improve your truck's performance on those hunting trips you can look at lift struts for the front & spacers for the rear springs. An example of this would be ProComp ZX2014 front struts which provide 2.75" lift, matching ProComp ZX2028 rear shocks to keep your ride and handling consistent and whatever inexpensive 1 or 1.5 inch rear spacers look good to you. That puts you just about $400 at retail, maybe a little less, plus whatever you spend on an alignment which you'll need after any suspension change no matter what brand.

I have used superlift on my last two Ram's and have no complaints. They have quality components and offer packages with bilstein shocks. Im sure there are better and worse options out there, but for a mostly daily driver that may go off the beaten path every now and then I think they make a great kit.
