So the stock ride height on these 4th gens is too low for my tastes. I was looking to start with a mild lift and and tires. I have stock 17" wheels, so I was considering a RL 2.5/1.5 leveling kit and some 315/70R17 tires. I read 1/4" spacers would be needed.

Anyone have experience with this set-up or similar? Just curious if it will fit or have rubbing issues.

It seems the front end clearance changed some on yhe 2013 and 14's so there is a chance they might not rub, not sure though

I think you problem is going to be with that wide tire on a narrow wheel. It may rub the upper control arm.

So I've been digging around and trying to find info across the forums. I read the stock wheels have positive offset and are a bit narrow, so I found these:

Zero offset and slightly wider wheels. Hopefully this is enough of a change.

I'm still looking to do 315/70R17 Cooper AT3s for tires.

Will the Ready Lift 2.5/1.5 leveling kit clear all this with no rub? Would wheel spacers still be a good idea? I'd like to eventually stuff a 6" RCX in there and call it a day, but I want to spread out my spending a bit without looking ridiculous (lift with stock wheels/tires) or parts laying around my garage (new wheels/tires that won't fit).

For reference: truck is a 2013 QC 4x4 1500.

Thoughts, suggestions and experienced advice is warmly welcomed.

Thanks!

when going with a wider tire, it will def benefit you to look into the lowest offset rim you can find to aid in clearence issues, plus it could negate your need for a wheel spacer. the level / lift you are looking into will def clear a tire of that size no problem. that tire is like a 34.6'' tire on a rough guess.

I can tell you now that with an offset with -12mm offset will push your tires out of the fender well by about an inch and a half or so. Im not sure of the oem offset of the 17'' rims, so im not 100% sure how much ( 0 offset ) will push outwards. I would imagine that most would suggest at least a 17x9 rim for such a wide tire.

Thank you for the info! I'll try and see if I can drum one up with negative offset. There's a lot of great looking wheels out there so in sure it won't be too hard.
