Flare coverage

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Sport, since I bought it I've put leveling shocks, and rims and 285/75R18 Toyo MT. Now I'm in need of some fender flares, I've looked at the OEM style bushwackers which say they have half an inch of coverage, is that half an inch all around? Or is there more coverage at the bottom than the top? Anyone who has these or if you know anything more than I do please let me know. Also looked at the Mopar flares which are pretty indentical to the OEM bushwackers so I'm not sure if they'd provide any more coverage. The only other option is the Extand-a-flare by bushwacker which is 1.75 inches which is too much for what I'm needing. The OEM bushwackers will be fine for coverage around the top and front, but might not be enough at the bottom for the front flares. If anyone has any insight or information or pictures on this then can you let me know?
