"STEP 1: -IDENTIFY THE PURPLE (PIN 18) AND BROWN (PIN 15) WIRES FROM THE 20 PIN BLACK CONNECTOR OF THE T‐HARNESS. -CUT THE PURPLE WIRE. -CAREFULLY STRIP THE BROWN WIRE USING A WIRE STRIPPER"

So are you guys cutting the factory harness or the kits T-Harness as mentioned above from instructions?? Not keen on cutting wires on new truck and screw myself on future warranty issues

I'll have to edit this, thanks
For the 2019 classic, you’ll have to cut those wires from the flashlogic t harness. My responses to JoeBlow in this thread are exactly what you need to do. If you’re adamant about not tapping into factory wiring, see my post above #21.

Thank you again but as JB said, those instructions leave a lot to the imagination and I work in electronics lol. Maybe I'll just run outside quick to start the truck in the winter :)

This is getting closer finally but the trailer brake connector looks to be 10 pin or so, the adapter mentioned above is 2 pin. I just want the make the mating half so literally plug the 2 connectors together no cutting, splicing, stripping factory wires needed

I'm thinking about buying this remote start kit. I think the connector and terminals Jimmy07 linked to, must plug in elsewhere than the 10 pin trailer brake connector. I think he said the "actual CAN C block", so if that is correct, where would I locate the CAN C block?
