Hey crew. Looking for some advice.
Last year I had considerable issues with a compstarer remote starter. It was diagnosed as a floating ground in my truck by the installer. When I asked a local dealer about installing a mopar starter, they cited the floating ground as an issue on 06 and would not install one.
My installer is sending me a new starter and blade bypass as I'm now out of town. What do you guys think. Is my truck doomed to not be warm next winter? Although I don't need the starter the 2 way notification was nice.
The floating ground caused the truck tk no be able to be started and the oem remotes to not work as well.
Any suggestions on directions I can take?
