floor console install on 2020 classic

completed an install and all looked ok, power ports light up but u-connect states " hubs not recognized" , anyone else have this issue? had to splice in a hot wire to get usb power hub to work but wonder how to get the u-connect to work.

You made the mistake when you spliced it together.

Me and another forum member swapped from Console to Jumpseat and I had the jumpseat, I had the plug for the console rolled up under the carpet. Pull the console out and look for the connector, it's there. The power comes directly from the U-Connect.
