How do the flowmaster 40s sound with the V8 Hemi? Was thinking about putting them on.

They sound good but we recommend straight thru design mufflers over the chambered Flowmaster. Straight thru mufflers flow much better than chambered ones. Either way let us know if you would like a quote. We offer mufflers, muffler kits, full catbacks, and anything else to do with exhausts as well as just about everything else! We also offer discounts for all the members here!!

Deep and rumbly but not too loud. I had a single in dual out 40 series.

I have a 40 on mine and love the way it sounds. Yes everyone says go with MF because of the design. If you’re wanting a good sounding truck when you’re on the GO pedal then go FM, but honestly it’s whatever YOU like. Sound clips all over YouTube for you to check out.

I have 40s on 14 ram sport. Love it. Not overly loud at interstate speeds, but is very noticeable.

I know a friend of mine that put a FlowMaster (Either a 40 or 44 series) on his Hemi. It was L O U D..... I have the FlowMaster 50 series with a catback dual exhaust out the rear, as my truck came with single exhaust. I L O V E the sound of the 50 series. Especially when cold started. After about a couple weeks, it got a bit louder and is just the right loudness for me. My sisters Niece, has a 2018 Big Horn which is a lease and she opted to put the special 50 series muffler that's made by FlowMaster to interchange into the existing exhaust and IMHO, I like the sound of mine better due to her truck still has the Resinator installed where as mine, does not.

Got the Flowmaster outlaw on mine and it's night and day from the stock muffler. Great sound.

I have a Super 40 on mine. Love it!!!! I’ve talked to a couple of exhaust guys that have been doing it longer than I’ve been alive. They recommend magnaflow style mufflers instead of chambered mufflers for 4 door trucks because the muffler is right under the cab and causes horrible drone at cruising speeds and especially when MDS kicks in whereas a single cab like my truck, the muffler is under the bed so it’s not as bad!
