Flowmaster MDS Video?

I know. Magnaflow rules.

However, does anyone happen to have any video of the 5.7 in cab or drive by, with flowmasters on it, when it actually flops over into MDS mode? I'm trying get an idea of how bad it really sounds. Bad as in not good.

I can try to get a video sometime today but i can tell you its not that noticable when the MDS kicks in, its a deep rumble when you're on the gas and then wen youre cruising and the dreaded MDS kicks in it just drops the deep tone to pretty much a little deeper than stock. I dont hear any drone. My camaro is horrible when the AFM kicks but it has a cat back.

I've had both, the Magnaflow and Flowmaster catback on my 2011 Ram. The Flowmaster lasted about 2 weeks, couldn't stand the sound when the MDS kicked in, sounded like a Honda with a fart pipe...the Magnaflow sounded way better, less drone, no noticeable MDS sound.

Get a Gibson, nice mean rumble, no drone anytime, and you can't hear the MDS at all except if it kicks on when putting alone at 25 MPH.

I agree I don't like the flowmaster when MDS kicks in, I'll get a video for you here in a minute. it's not terrible but around town I don't like hearing it. I also noticed I get bad mileage in town with MDS so I drive in tow mode anyway. on the highway I never notice MDS and I leave it on

not the best, but you get an in town idea. MDS kicks in almost at the end and then I accelerate it to get out of MDS. it's not as bad on camera as it is in person. if you put headphones in, it's pretty accurate
