Fog lights turning off and on.

I have a new 2019 Ram Big Horn I got 3 days ago. Anytime I make a turn, is it normal for your fog lights to turn on and off? Even when not using a turn signal? I noticed the lights illuminate brighter every time when it's dark. As I pulled into work today another coworker who owns a Ram saw me and said.......dude, is that normal your fog lights turn on any time you turn?

Those aren't fog lights. They're essentially a turn assist light. They turn on when you slow down and either have a blinker or cut the wheel. Itll illuminate the area your truck is headed

It's a pretty cool feature, there is a way to turn them on permanently. I did it when I was trying to turn off my headlights

Just like a lot of cars from the 80's!

If your turn signal is on that side corner/fog light will come on when you slow down below 25 mph. If you don't have your blinker on it will come on as you turn the wheel.

If you push your fog light button both lights will stay on.
