I know you can but I don’t really feel there’s all that much for me to change to justify spending the money on one, and on the security bypass cable thing I’d need which I’ve heard two conflicting stories on whether or not you can or can’t leave that security bypass module bypassed to where it would or wouldn’t let Chrysler’s computer talk to the computer in the truck if it was bypassed; and, if that module is truly behind the big 8.4 radio, even though it should hardly ever happen at but if it ever did, I really wouldn’t want to have to rip the dash apart just to plug the bypass module back in, just to have to rip it all apart again... when I get home to commence using my new changed settings.

Its not as bad as that, at least on my 19 classic.
Plugs inline with oem obd at obd port hanging under steering wheel, canbus modules are up by steering column. I leave the canbus connectors connected and just disconnect the obd connection and put oem back in holder with wires stuffed to not hang down.
Takes maybe 5 minutes.
I just reconnected the bypass this morning after a dealer visit due to a bulb out message from installing "superbright leds" taillight bulbs, reconfigured setting again, waited 5 minutes, all good now. Just made a run to home desperate and no message!!
