Sounds like the brake booster itself may be bad. If the diaphragm on the inside is torn, as soon as you push on the brake it will act like someone just yanked off a vacuum line,

Ryan, Was thinking about the orange O-ring too but I asked Kristen if she had it off (TB) lately and she responded no.

NOYB, Interesting Theory about a Bad Booster.

Not the orange ring, the one that connects the TB to the intake manifold. I thought she just pulled the ported TB off not to long ago to sell it which is why I ask.

Thats what I was Thinking exactly but Ha Ha, No not the Orange Towards Engine one against the Hat (Well maybe its not really orange but in a small groove on the Manifold / Yes That One / could have got pinched) Sorry for the confusion, I smoked alot of good weed before my Long Army Carreer.

Well, just changed the check valve. The new one fits a lot tighter, tried the test of goin up to 1500-2200 rpms and then hit the brake and it's not idling way down anymore so I think it may be fixed for good now!!
