What the best route to go? Fox box or custom made box? Wanna install two 12's? What subs would be good to run with the foxbox and what amp? And vice versa with a custom box.
Seems like this exact question was asked last week. Either way you go, you need match your subwoofer cu ft. requirements to the box you want to use as well as the power requirements. You will find a variety of opinions here on amps, enclosures and subs but it boils down to what you can afford and what you are looking for
My set up for example, I used a JL Audio 10w3v3-2 sub. That sub works best with .65 to .70 cu ft. for a sealed box and its optimal power handling is 300w RMS. Sounds great and the low bass tickles my eardrums so it is loud enough for my tastes.![]()
Did you have your box custom made?
