Nothing like the smell of headlights on the grill lol. Hopefully no one at work bugs me so I can get these bad boys opened today. They are on the grill because no fitting in our double wall oven.

Ooh the smell of plastic and permaseal. Im getting supplies to do another set soon. I made a great set with the d2s and sold them as I was selling my truck. Turns out I love my truck too much.

Yep same here I actually did a pair with the FXR in some junky headlights so I can take my time with these ones and still have a usable truck. Had another set as well that were painted to match the old truck that I sold with the truck so round 3 here we go.

Ugh got them half way open and ran out of gas. Looks like this is on hold until next week now.

This should be in the "I hate it when" thread...lol
I absolutely HATE running out of gas in mid bbq

I fixed that issue by spending 2 months pouring a concrete pad, cutting and stacking wall blocks and having a granite countertop installed for our outdoor *natural gas* grill

Came home yesterday to my wife using our old propane grill instead lol

Mounting is the easy part they have a kit with an adapter plate it literally screws into the factory projectors mounting spots. Hoping to get back at it this week but my roofers finally showed up.

Good info concerning the size and the oven!
I actually intended to do the same with my projectors but I suppose that our oven and our grill are too small...:-(

Thats a pretty common mod on the 3rd gens with many threads if ya need some more info . Those latter 2000s needed some headlight mods to make them big eyes blend in better
