2025 Ram Laramie 1500 3.0 with 5000 miles. With front wheels off the ground my front axles rotate with the same feel when in 4wd auto as they do when 4wd. When in 2wd they rotate freely with no feel of being engaged, I thought it was supposed to be the same when in 4wd auto unless it senses loss of traction with the rears that they would then engage. My gas mileage seems to be way down currently around 11.5 mpg. Am I wrong about this situation?
