So I'm in need of a new front driverside rotor cuz the current ones warped. My question is basically what should I get for replacement? I'm kind of wanting to go with something better than stock to deal with some of the heat. Slotted? Drilled? Both? What do yall think?

IMHO, slotted and maybe dimpled, not drilled. I have heard that the drilled one's can be prone to warping and cracking, because the drilling makes them a little weak for these heavy trucks.

Get you some good rotors for both sides and good pads. Slotted rotors don't do much in these heavyass trucks.

If they're warped now it means they're likely too thin.

Been there done that.

Once you take 'em off, just change 'em. Turning 'em is a waste of time IMO.

UPDATE: Dad went ahead and replaced both the rotor and the pads while I was at a school track meet, heres why:

Outer Pad is the good one which was on the shiny side of the rotor.
Inner Pad is the one which is ***** and on the ***** side of the rotor.
