Front bumper swap

Hello everyone, I have a 2016 ram 1500 express . I hate plastic and I would like to put a two piece steel bumper on. My questions are... 1- Will the two piece bumper fit properly on my express, of so what additional parts do I need. 2- I also don’t like chrome, so could I have the chrome metal piece powder coated or painted black...? My truck is white and a slightly different bumper style but the picture I added is kind of the idea I have.

Are you wanting to switch 2016 plastic to the 09-12 metal bumper as in that picture ?


I’ve often wondered if that could be done and what brackets required etc

Jb1 actually I’m looking to see if the 2013 - 2018 steel bumper would fit on my express. Or the 09-12 steel bumper if that’s possible. The picture was just to show you the color idea I was going for
