Hello...the attached pic is from my 02' Ram 2500 front driveline. The CV joint has about an 1/8" of slop up and down. Can anyone provide a link to a rebuild thread and parts ? I tried a search but did not have any luck. The driveline has Spicer C2-3-3078 on it. I believe this end of the driveline is not too hard to rebuild. I have a 6" lift with 315/75R 16 tires. This mod has lead to my 3rd front driveline issue. Would like to save some money after xmas and do the repair myself.

Thanks!

Tom

Looks like I may just have a driveline shop do it as I dont have the puller or press. The current one has about an 1/8" of slop but does not make any noise. How sloppy/noisy do these ujoints get before they fail?

Thank you.

What I see is a dry cup with the needle bearings inside being pounded to rusty dust anytime 4wd is engaged.

Failure is somewhere between immanent and immediate. Drive accordingly.
