Thinking about swapping out my front end.

Option 1: Rebel front end

Pros: Love the look of the bumper. It will give me slightly more clearance without having to lift more.
Cons: IMO the grille on the rebels are fugly.

Solutions to Con? Is there a good looking aftermarket grille for the rebel? I'm sure I could have one made by OKF but paying 600+ for the stock grill just to spend another 800 to chop it up to customize is a little much lol.

Option 2: HD front end

Pros: I love the look of the HD.
Con: Will also have to replace the hood adding cost. Become that guy who tries to make his truck something it's not lol.

Just brain storming at this point. In my mind the perfect set up would be the rebel front bumper, the sport style grill that says ram, and a true ram air hood.

Not a huge fan of the rebel front. But I’ve been really becoming a fan of the bodyguard a2l bumper for our trucks.

I’m not a fan of the aftermarket bumpers with all the hoops and bars on them. But I love the smooth yet mean look this one gives our trucks.

There’s also a guy on the forum with this bumper but I don’t remember his username.

My ideas for my truck change every day but I’ve been stuck on this bumper and removing the flares. It’s such a good look for the 09-18s IMO. But I know each one of us has our preferences and in the end if it’s a 4th Gen it’ll probably end up looking good either way.

I think his setup is .........minus the fact I’d take the flares off with the bodyguard bumper to give it that sleek look...

But it’s also true that the bodyguard bumper would look a little silly on your truck if it has a stock wheel/tire setup.

I think it’s important to go to a more aggressive overall package with these bumpers to make it work and not look out of place...

I'll be changing the wheels regardless if I cant find a bumper I like to give me more room itll be 14 wides with 33s. If I can find the right combo with a rebel bumper itll be 14 wides with 35s. Some aftermarket bumpers are decent I just dont like how they follow the body lines I'm a little ocd. The rebel bumper gives me the clearance/ prerunner look but follows the round smooth body lines. I just know if I can handle the grille lol. Will a 2500 grill work with the rebel bumper?

For pure looks or function? You said rebel for clearance since the cutouts on the side help. Hd font end is low. The pw uses a smaller lower valance. I had to cut mine lol

If I did rebel it would be for both. HD would be purely for looks. I'm leaning toward rebel but have to find a solution for the grill

I was just going to ask if the Power Wagon front end would work on a 1500? Plus you can add the winch in as well if it works.

Not to mention it looks like you have to buy their goofy fender flares for the bumper to even install on your truck and I assume you be in for about $4k with them lok
