While driving there is a thumping feeling that you can feel in the steering wheel and gas pedal. My wife was thinking suspension or steering component(s) on the driver side. I jacked up the front and checked all the steering and suspension components as well as the steering rod and didn’t find any issues there.

I did however get some up and down play on the passenger side tire while doing a wheel bearing check. So obviously there’s an issue there. The question I have is will the right side wheel bearing cause a thumping or clumping feeling in the steering wheel and gas pedal?

Mine was the wheel hub, the bearings were completely ground down. Yes you will feel it in the steering and acceleration. New one was $ 215 at autozone.

Took me about 20 minutes after the wheel was off.
