I know this isn't the diesel forums, but I have an EcoDiesel and just installed the GDE tune. It coasts a lot longer at speeds before slowing... So what I've been doing for the purpose of fuel economy and to play with my MPG's... Is baby the gas and as soon as my current MPG gets down with my Average MPG, off the pedal and coast. And repeat over and over again... So I never really "gun it" but am always gaining in Average MPG because it's either at or above the current average. By doing this on/off the pedal over and over again am I causing any long term engine issues? I can't imagine so since that's what the throttle does... On and off the gas, but figured I'd ask
