Rockauto data sheets didnt really specify but it did say that i need to replace the filter while i did the pump so i got a little confused. Arnt the filter and pump a single unit? Any secondaries?

There are no secondary fuel filters on our trucks. The main fuel filter is located on the inlet if the fuel pump itself at the very bottom of the fuel pump module.

I install secondary fuel filters inline and I mount them on the frame rail at the rear of the transmission crossmember. I am partial to the Aeromotive fuel filters. The quality is excellent and their fuel line fittings are too notch.

Seems that was probably just a generic statement than on the data sheet. Thanks

Might be a good idea to install a secondary, ill check out aeromotive. What micron should i be looking at?

Appreciate it

No problem. I use the Aeromotive 100 micron filters with the -10AN inlet and outlet. It's a nice, clean setup.

Are you running full braided or equivalent fuel line or just splicing into the factory stuff?

Hey. Sorry I didn't see your post until now. I run a full braided setup from the pump to the filter and then from the filter to the regulator and then fuel rails. I use the stock fuel line as my return.
