I wouldn't use those. It appears they aren't OEM. I sure wouldn't cheap out on filtration. I would go to genos garage and buy your filters from them. They are great to deal with and it will be the right stuff...not Chinese knock off crap.

Me either.
OEM filter for me.
If that cheap filter goes bye-bye, so can your engine.

I had the dealership mechanic school me on this on my previous Cummins.
If my cheap filter wrecks my engine, cheap filter company will pay for a new filter.

If an OEM Ram filter wrecks it, Mopar is on the hook.

HPFP and fuel injectors are on the expensive side to go cheap on the fuel filters.
Front: Fleetguard FS53000 / Cummins 5260529
The rear fuel filter also is used in the DT body EcoDiesel: Mopar 68436631AA

Would never try to skimp on fuel filter price. Go oem or equivalent there us too much crap fuel i would not want to risk anything especially over $50.

So there is no aftermarket fuel filter for the rear?

Don't believe there is, maybe someone will chime in. I double checked on a different forum for the EcoDiesel and only the Mopar one is listed.

I use these Diesly filters. OEM filters are all back ordered and these are pretty good.
I for one wouldn't use some cheap @ss fuel filter on my truck and filters can be found some time it may take a day or two to find them, my self I just got mine off Amazon last week and had both fuel filters in less then 5 days...

i just made an appointment at my local stealership, they wanted $349 to change both fuel filters. Does that sound right
i ordered both filters for #59.00 at Amazon, Mopar filters. They quoted $89.00 for labor. If it was under 200 dollars I would have let the stealership done it. I'm having some recall items looked at. mainly the water pump.

I can almost bet those 2 filters from Amazon for $59.00 are made in China, I would not trust them in my CTD, if you don't want to buy Mopar/Fleetguard 3 micron filter then use Baldwin #PF46108 & BF46031 they are 4 micron rated...

The consensus is no. Use only Cummins or Fleetguard unless you know for a fact that some other after market company exceeds the filtering capacity of the two brands above. Do not use cheaper imitation filters.
