I’m replacing the 26 gallon fuel tank on my 2018 BigHorn 3.6L due to problems filling it up at the gas station. The problem has gotten worse over the past year and the dealer says it needs a new tank. At $1600 dealer repair I’ve elected to do it myself for under $400 for both the tank and charcoal EVAP canister. I received the new tank today and I’m a little stumped on the attached line. I haven’t pulled the old tank out but I’ve watched a few YouTube vids on the fuel pump replacement. I have this line pictured below inside the new tank. It’s attached to some sort of interior vent and I don’t see where it would attach to the fuel pump in any vids I’ve watched. Can someone tell me exactly what it is and where it goes?
