If it actually works, I would hate to not have it...because the wheel hop can be atrocious even with it!

Power hop dampener, kicker shock. Some have modded by adding 2 more shocks.

As said above helps dampen rotational movement and wheel hop. Stuff like this was super common in the aftermarket back in the 80's and 90's to help with wheel hop......was actually surprised to find this setup on the trucks.

Nah it doesn’t.

Considering I can turn off traction control, mat it, and roast the back tires into second gear with NO wheel hop what soever, I'll respectfully disagree and say that it DOES control wheel hop.

I dont think its the shock preventing the hop in that situation.

Get yourself in some deep sand or snow, in 4 lo (or 4hi) and mash the skinny pedal...hip hip a hipity hop we go!
